UserVoice provides tools for customer driven product design
UserVoice, an online community where product users can provide feedback and vote on ideas for products, came out of beta today and declared that they are now ready to be considered as an Enterprise-level solution according to an official company blog posting.
Pricing for the service starts at “Free” for up to 10,000 users (and a limited set of features), to beyond $589/month for a broader set of functionality, including white label support.
The best way to build product is to listen to what your users are telling you, hands down. This is a fantastic idea for anyone looking to build a product that draws directly from the needs and wisdom of the crowd.
Granted, there’s still a balancing act. Sometimes steering the product in the right direction means not listening to every piece of feedback from your customers, and taking a risk by going in a different direction. But without a doubt, the feedback that you get from customers is certainly invaluable.
