Google announced on their Official Google Blog today that the Google Friend Connect Service now features Twitter integration, allowing you to see who of your friends on Twitter are using the same site you’re using, or tweet about the site you’ve discovered.

uTest, the virtualized QA department that I’d written about previously, recently performed a Bug Battle with over 1,300 testers. Yesterday both CNET and TechCrunch covered news about MySpace trying to keep up with Google Friend Connect and Facebook Connect news by re-branding their data portability project.

In his latest post, Rafe Needleman over at CNET identifies a list of sites that have implemented Facebook Connect, and which are using Google Friend Connect.
So far, and perhaps not too surprisingly, Facebook is leading the way.
